The Friendswood MOB (Medical Office Building) is a prominent commercial project situated at 1715 Friendswood Drive in Friendswood, Texas. This three-story structure covers an approximate area of 82,000 square feet and was purposefully designed to cater to the needs of the medical office industry.
In this project, our team provided essential engineering services as the Engineer of Record (EOR). We meticulously designed the structural system of the building, ensuring it met the necessary standards for safety and functionality. This involved the selection of appropriate materials and techniques to ensure the building’s integrity and stability.
Part of our design included specifying sheathing materials, which play a vital role in enhancing the building’s resilience and energy efficiency. Additionally, we incorporated cold-formed steel wall panels into the design, further contributing to the structural integrity of the building while also offering benefits in terms of construction speed and cost-effectiveness.
